Sarah Palin Protected Against ”All forms of witchcraft.”

One might normally say “so what?” It’s easy to dismiss this sort of ignorance and superstition as a harmless affectation. Yet Palin aspires to be one McCain myocardial event away from the nuclear code. This is not particularly reassuring.

In Pastor Muthee’s Kenya, however, witchcraft certainly can still have deadly ramifications. Pastor Muthee was responsible for tracking down a witch in his home village and seeing that she was forced to leave. Numerous Kenyans, generally between 70 and 90 years of age, have had their throats cut or been clubbed to death and their bodies burned by bands of vigilantes who deemed them witches.
