Barack has an ECONOMIC POLICY, clearly stated, that pays attention to the needs of Middle America.
When W walked into the White House, we had a budgetary surplus. The nation was at peace. McCain, with little exception been an enabler of failed fiscal policies throughout his tenure in office. He voted with Bush 96% of the time. He was a deregulator—and still is. McCain proposes a reduction in Capital Gains? Gee, thanks, Sen. McCain, but the majority of Americans have more basic concerns than Capitol Gains.
HEALTH CARE POLICY: Obama proposes a straight forward and sensible health care plan That will provide $2,500 in savings for the typical American family. McCain proposes a $5,000 tax credit for health insurance, and then to tax employer provided health benefits. This will hurt lower income Americans in particular.
IRAQ: Obama has a determination –and a plan--to get our troops out of Iraq. McCain states we will stay there “a hundred years” if necessary for “Victory.” Didn’t Bush declare victory years ago on the USS Abraham Lincoln? Hmm, at $10 Billion a month, That equals in up front costs, not adjusted for inflation, 120 billion per year equals $12,000,000,000,000, a tidy sum even for a multimillionaire like McCain.
